Ostrea Aquaculture
Our business concept is to grow the world's most sought-after oyster, the flat oyster Ostrea edulis, on a large scale at the Bohus coast. The core of Ostrea Aquaculture AB's operations is the hatchery, its own production facility at Koster where oyster fry are grown in a controlled environment.
The continued production from fry to fully grown salable oysters – a period of time of around three years – takes place in coral farms in the marine environment.

DIGITAL PRODUCT PASSPORT
The upcoming EU proposal on Sustainable Product Regulation including the ‘EU Digital Product Passport’ and the rising awareness of customers and end-consumers are contributing to the need for verified and detailed data from the complete supply chain.
Under the new regulation, the DPP must ensure that all actors along the value chain, including consumers, economic operators and national authorities, can access product information relevant to them, as well as include the necessary data attributes to enable the tracking of all substances of concern throughout the life cycle of the product.
UNISOT DPP extends these requirements by providing functionality for Deep Consumer Engagement, such as Product Branding, Provable Product Information, Consumer Communication Channel, Support Badges, Buying Online, Gaming, Social Media Sharing, Circular Economy/Package Deposit.
